My Vision Board

Whenever you’re completing a huge project, you need a diving board―a place from which you leap into the waters of a busy life. The “Busy Lifestyle Planner” provides that launchpad for you. It holds all the seeds that you plant to make your dreams bloom. This is a necessary first step in planning with purpose.

The Big Picture

When you write out your future goals on “The Big Picture” page, you are actually painting a guiding visual in the form of words. You are crafting who you want to become in the eyes of your loved ones, community, coworkers, and yourself. Perhaps your big picture includes travel plans, fitness goals, relationship growth, or monetary savings. Whatever your heart’s desire, write those ideas down. Put them in permanent ink to symbolize their importance to you, or scribble them with pencil to represent the fact that dreams slightly shift or beautifully blossom into something even greater. Once again, it’s up to you.

You might write in a journaling-style, but some years, I have simply listed words on the page. These became “my words” that helped me in dark times when my future looked dim. Sometimes a basic list of character traits, places you’d like to go, items you need for your home, and names of people you hope to love more deeply―all of these can be just as powerful in helping you succeed. Write everything down at once, or keep coming back and adding to your picture. Most importantly, take this essential first step in assuring “The Big Picture” becomes “The Big Reality.”

The “Busy Lifestyle Planner” is made of wood-free paper and a coated chipboard front and back cover. It’s sturdier than most planners you’ll find in office supply stores. The golden spiral binding is a snazzy touch. As I work, clean, cook, shop, and entertain, it reminds me I’m a brilliant, powerful, beautiful woman. Looking back, perhaps I always knew I’d create a planner for busy women―for moms on-the-go, for all my girls out there trying to gracefully (and sanely!) navigate hectic daily schedules. As a mother, I get it: we juggle what is deemed “the impossible” some days. I understand the crazy lifestyles of ladies in college and those out there working steady 9 to 5’s and overtime. I say we unite and do it with flair!

BEHIND THE DESIGN

For a long time, I couldn’t find a planner to suit my needs, and my cell phone calendar certainly wasn’t doing the trick. I needed a physical space to jot down upcoming activities, regular appointments, work meetings, sports nights, and even our family’s dinner menu. I needed a method of organization that allowed me to look over the contents of my beautiful but, at times, overwhelming life. Thus, I set out to design the “Busy Lifestyle Planner” for busy women like me.

My “Busy Lifestyle Planner” is tailor-made for ladies who find themselves rather lost among unending to-do lists, healthcare visits, school functions, and chores around the house.
